The SA640 was discontinued on 30.09.2023.
In certain applications, the touchMATRIX® devices DX350 or IX350 can be used as a substitute.
The SA640 serves as a speed display, tachometer, frequency meter or timer. The device offers various programmable operating modes for speed, baking time (reciprocal speed), total or differential speed, speed ratio or percentage deviation with two signal inputs for the connection of incremental rotary pulse generators, proximity switches or light barriers. High input frequencies up to 1 MHz can be processed. In addition, the device is equipped with a serial RS232 interface, which can be operated both in PC and printer mode. The intuitive menu is used to preselect four limits, which enable a switching function via 4 fast transistor outputs as well as an additional 4 potential-free changeover relay outputs.
In contrast to the SD640, the SA640 also has a 14-bit analogue output for selective operation with voltage or current.
