This high-precision single-axis synchronous control is used on speed-controlled drives with analogue setpoints and has excellent control characteristics. An absolute angle-synchronous synchronism or ratio synchronization with adjustable transmission factors and phase positions as well as trimming and indexing functions for adjusting the relative position between the axes are just some of the numerous functions and features of this device series.
The BY641 synchronous control system is supplied in a 96 x 96 x 140 mm (3.78 x 3.78 x 5.51″) installation housing and is particularly suitable for control purposes on smaller machines and systems with tight budgets. Due to the larger design (in addition to the keyboard), the BY641 variant allows a direct adjustment of the speed ratio via a front BCD decade switch. Furthermore, this device has 4 programmable limit values for transistor switching outputs as well as 4 potential-free changeover output relays, a 14-bit analogue output (± 10 V or 0/4 … 20 mA) and a serial RS232 interface.
