The SD640 was discontinued on 30.09.2023.
In certain applications, the touchMATRIX® devices DX350 or IX350 can be used as a substitute.
SD640 is a multifunctional display unit with 2 input channels which are used to evaluate two incremental encoders or measuring systems. The frequency display is used, for example, for visualizing speeds, speeds, throughput times as well as speed ratios or rotational speed differences. Sensible operating modes such as tachometers, speed displays, totals, ratios or differential displays ensure flexible application possibilities for a wide variety of machine applications. The standard RS232 interface can be operated in the PC or printer mode. The device operates with input frequencies up to 1 MHz and also has 4 programmable limit values which enable a switching function via 4 fast transistor outputs.
The larger design with 96 x 96 x 140 mm (compared to the SD340 with 96 x 48 x 140 mm) allows the additional equipment to be equipped with 4 potential-free changeover relay outputs for the switching function of the set limit values.
