In certain applications, the touchMATRIX® devices DX350 or IX350 can be used as a substitute.
SD642 is a universal two-channel frequency display with 2 encoder inputs for incremental rotary pulse encoders or length-measuring systems. The device is used to display speeds, lead times, ratios, sums or differences. Numerous programmable operating modes allow flexible use on different machines and systems. The display unit has a serial RS232 interface which can be used in printer or PC mode. The encoder frequencies can be processed up to 1 MHz (depending on the selected operating mode). Four programmable limit values allow the control of 4 fast transistor switching outputs as well as 4 potential-free change-over contact output relays.
In addition, there are 2 pre-selection switches on the front side, with which limit values can be set quickly and directly.
